I feel something is different this year. Something good. I don't know what it is yet, but I know it will come. I know I will make something happen, something that leads to greater success of my life. This Hatsuhinodo (first sunrise of the year) was photographed at the Winslow Maxwell Overlook Point at Santa Barbara City Collage in Santa Barbra, California. Hatsuhinode is an annual Japanese tradition that many Japanese people go to top of mountain or go to the beach to observe and pray to the first sunrise of the year for good luck for the year ahead. It is considered one of the sacred and honorable activities of the New Year’s Day in Japan. How about you? Did you make any New Year's resolution?
